Sara's Transformation!!

I would like everyone to meet Sara! Sara started her journey with the 21 Day Fix in May in our Fit Mommas challenge group. She absolutely ROCKED it! The support and accountability in the group is what helped her stay on track - daily motivation, accountability, support, healthy recipes, and a place to share your struggles of the day. The 21 Day Fix is the type of program that allows busy moms to be able to workout every day - workouts are only 30 minutes long, eat a healthy, clean diet - portion control containers help with showing you how much you should be eating, and provide you with the tools necessary to plan your meals ahead of time so you don't have excuses on why you can't live a healthy lifestyle. It is only 21 days long, long enough for you to create new, healthier habits.

In these 21 days, you can lose up to 15 pounds, depending on your body and how much you can afford to lose.  BUT, it isn't about the number of pounds you have lost or the number of inches you have lost. What it is about, is the confidence, physical strength, and a healthier mindset you gain that will help you continue your journey. Sara's before and after photos show a drastic difference in her appearance, and the smile on her face shows how much happier she is after her first 21 days of being on this program. I remember her sharing a "Flex Friday" picture and she was EXTREMELY EXCITED to see some muscle definition! This is motivation enough to keep pursuing your journey. Being a mom, wife and working full time, taking those 30 minutes for herself, Sara was able to create a new lifestyle for herself! That's all it takes - 30 minutes a day, planning your meals, and being committed to this new lifestyle. During the challenge group, Sara was very involved, posting multiple times a day to help keep herself accountable. We are all in there to support, motivate, and help each other reach your goals!

I COULD NOT BE MORE PROUD OF YOU, SARA!

Since completing her first round of the Fix, Sara had decided to become a Beachbody coach herself and start the 21 Day Fix Extreme after she does the 3 Day Refresh! I am so excited to have Sara on the team! She will be a great role model and mentor to everyone she works with! Sara is just one of many success stories from the 21 Day Fix. With the popularity of this program, I run monthly 21 Day Fix Challenge groups. If this is something that you may be interested, join me in my next challenge group starting June 22nd! MY Transformation - So Far!

I was hesitant about using myself for my Transformation Tuesday, but when I was comparing pictures of myself over the past year, I decided, why not? Since July, I have lost 60 pounds! That was when I started to drink Shakeology daily and workout regularly.  I know it isn't about the number of pounds lost, but more importantly how I feel. And I feel GREAT! I have so much more energy, I am able to do more physical activities, and I am enjoying feeling healthier.

Chicago, April 2014

I can't believe the difference in myself in less than a year.  Never would I have thought that I would be able to lose weight or keep it off.  It hasn't been easy, but it has definitely been worth the sweat.  I will continue with this journey until I am satisfied with my fitness level, and then I will just work to maintain it.  A few of the biggest reasons that I have been so successful is because of my Beachbody coach, the challenge groups that I participated in as a challenger (and now as a coach), and learning to eat properly.

February 2015

I am signed up for my first 5k in a few weeks, and I am surprised at how much I am able to run.  Weighing what I weigh, running is still a little difficult, but it is getting so much easier.  It will take a lot more training before I am able to run a 5k without having to walk parts of it, but one day I WILL be able to do that!  I believe setting goals is what helps keep your motivated, and I have weekly and monthly goals that are constantly changing as my fitness level improves.

I used to only eat 2, maybe 3 times a day because I was trying to limit my calories.  What I should have been doing was eating 5-6 times a day, every 2-3 hours to help keep my metabolism revved.  I know this now, and that is what I try to do.  Eating less puts your body in starvation mode, which will make it want to hang on to everything it can when you feed it because it doesn't know when it will get food again.  Eating every 2-3 hours keeps you fuller longer and prevents your body from going into starvation mode.

Here is an example of what a typical day of eating is like for me:
Breakfast: Oatmeal with honey, cinnamon, and a diced apple
Snack: Greek yogurt, veggies
Lunch: Grilled chicken salad with light dressing
Snack: Shakeology with a banana, PB 2, and sometimes spinach
Dinner: Lean grilled meat (fish, chicken, venison, etc.), brown rice, veggies

Eating healthy is 80% of the battle.  Once you get your nutrition under control, the rest will happen naturally.  Do you have what it takes to be the best version of yourself? I have a support/challenge group starting on March 16th, and I want you to joint me! Are you in? Email me at: keilamccracken@yahoo.com with the subject: I'm In For March 16th! Kayla's Transformation!

AHHH! I am so excited for this transformation!!

Kayla and I have been best friends since we met in Kindergarten over 25 years ago.  We have been there to support and encourage each other over the years, and I consider her a sister.  although we now live about 8 hours apart, we are still there for one another.

Kayla has always been fairly active, being around animals her entire life.  She is currently a vet tech, owns 2 gorgeous dogs and a horse, and is married to her high school sweetheart! Like a lot of people, sometimes workouts and healthy eating aren't always a top priority, but once Kayla started making them a priority again, she began seeing incredible results!  Here is her story.

Kayla started out doing T25 several months ago, but got frustrated once she hit a plateau.  She needed a little boost to get her over it so she could continue losing weight and reach her goal.  She reached out to me about Shakeology, the 3 Day Refresh, and asked to join one of my challenge groups to see if that would help.  In early January, she completed the 3 Day Refresh and began drinking Shakeology.  She has not only broken through her plateau, but has lost enough weight to almost make it to her goal ahead of schedule!  This girl is a rock star!

She has been rocking the challenge groups! Kayla not only posts daily about how she did on her food, workout, and Shakeology, but she also is a great inspiration, supporter and motivator to the other challengers.  Being in the challenge groups really helps to keep you motivated to reach your goals.  It is also a place you can go to vent if you are having a bad day, and get picked up by those who are going through the same struggles as you.  I am so proud to not only have Kayla as a challenger, but also as a great friend.

I'm not going to post specific numbers because Kayla is not quite where she wants to be yet, but she will be soon.  Since starting T25, she has lost a total of 25 pounds and 16.5 total inches! AMAZING! Kayla, you are killing it! Keep up the fantastic work!

If you want to have success like Kayla, join me in one of my challenge groups! I would love to work with you!
