21 Day Fix

Nutrition is a key component in this program, and below is a breakdown of the foods you can eat.  People think that they will be starving on these programs, but for me, I actually found that I was full all day long.  Eating meals every 2 to 3 hours not only helps you keep your body fueled to get through your day, but also keeps your metabolism cranking, thereby burning more fat.


Here is a sample of one of my weekly eating plans when I was on this program.  I was in one of the higher calorie brackets based on my weight and caloric needs.


You will see a row at the bottom for water intake.  In order to keep your body functioning properly, you need to drink half of your body weight in ounces every day.  What I do to help me with this is that I need to drink about 7 of my 24 ounce cups of water a day.  I have 7 hair ties on my cup.  When I drink on, I move the hair tie down.  My goal is to get all of the hair ties to the bottom of the cup by the end of the day.  That way, I know I have consumed enough water.  Some days it is hard, and some days it is very easy to drink enough water.  Keeping hydrated is important when trying to lose weight.  And yes, the hair ties are on the outside of the cup ;)
